Esquire Innovations Releases iCreate version 5.0
v5.0 legal desktop suite provides full Microsoft 2007 compatibility
Temecula, CA – December 17th, 2007 - - Esquire Innovations, Inc., a leading provider of Microsoft Office integration software services and applications for the legal market, today announced the release of iCreate Version 5.0, its comprehensive and integrated template and macro creation and automation tool. Version 5.0 boasts complete compatibility with Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows Vista resulting in workflow automation utilizing Microsoft’s ribbon concept, a more accessible feature set, as well as dramatic document creation and automation speed increases.
iCreate V5.0 revolutionizes the use of templates and automation by providing firms with a highly customizable application which can be customized by in-house staff without VBA or programming experience, and is simple to administer. This newest version includes many attractive features and useful functionality including:
Workflow: MS Office 2007 enabled Esquire Innovation’s development team to organize iCreate in a productive workflow process using MS Office ribbons.
Increased Accessibility: Document creation in Word 2007 is easier because of the availability of the iCreate and iHyperstyles menus, now easily accessible in Ribbon style.“Many Microsoft Word and iCreate Features that were important were hard to find or stranded somewhere on cascading menus. Ribbons allow a much more productive way to organize features in a more orderly workflow process.” stated Randall Farrar, President and CEO, Esquire Innovations, Inc.
Enhanced Native Architecture (ENA): iCreate continues to use ENA in Office 2007 as in Office 2003. Enhanced Native Architecture (ENA) builds upon the user interface and features of the existing parent software application whenever possible keeping custom applications consistent with parent software native functionality.
Enhanced Document Migration: iCreate provides both Microsoft Office Open XML Document Format and Office 2003 document formats for an easier document migration path;
Customization ease: Ribbon customization is easy – iCreate’s Ribbon settings are contained in a XML container in the in a Global template, which make it easy for the firm to change and manage.
Security: Installation conforms to VISTA's User Access Control setting "On" – User Account Control (UAC) is a new security component in Windows Vista. UAC enables users to perform common tasks as non-administrators, called standard users in Windows Vista, and as administrators without having to switch users, log off, or use Run As.
The complete iCreate v5.0 application consists of several components:
- iCreate Template Launcher: All firm Microsoft Office templates (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are organized and contained within one dialog box, and all can be launched directly from virtually any location and from within iCreate;
- iCreate Templates: There are over 50 templates, including letter, memo, fax covers, time sheets, check requests, pleadings, agreements, and many more;
- QuickMerge: Swiftly populate documents with names, addresses, phone numbers, and other contact information from the firm’s contact management system;
- iHyperstyles Ribbon: Easily creates, manages and modifies outline numbering, schemes and styles;
- iCreate and iBates Label: Quick and easy label creation tool which integrates with built-in MS Word labels and creates bates labels as desired;
- icCalendar: Retrieve schedule information from an Outlook calendar and insert into a clean table in Microsoft Word.
